"My Journey with Post Vintage.

In 2011 I was looking to enter the world of owning a classic Aston Martin. Whilst I had a modern DB9, my knowledge of the Classic car market was extremely limited so I was very wary of being sold a car that would end up being a money pit. I phoned around a few Classic Car Dealers that I had heard about. To be honest, I came off the phone even more concerned!

I contacted my local AMOC as the secretary at the time owned a DB6 which had been restored by Post Vintage. I decided to contact Adrian Johnson and was impressed by his depth of knowledge. I am sure he wouldn’t mind me saying, bordering on being an anorak about Astons! His experience and advice was extremely encouraging and his passion for the marque was evident. We decided that he would try to source a DB6 for me.

Within a short space of time, Adrian contacted me to say that he was mid-way through a full ‘body off’ restoration of a DB5. I visited Adrian at his impressive showroom and workshop just outside of Leeds to view the car. Needless to say, with his knowledge and desire to ensure that I purchased a car that was right in every way, a deal was done. Fast forward three years and I am still the proud owner of a magnificent DB5 which has been restored to the absolutely highest standards by Post Vintage. I have also recently taken delivery of a fully restored DB6 MKII from Adrian.

Post Vintage definitely have created a niche in the Classic Car market. This is achieved through working with customers to ensure that they achieve the maximum understanding and enjoyment from their classic Aston Martin."
